tv these days sucks. not that all the programs sucks, but rather, the hope-giving. imagine watching a tv series u enjoy only to be told that it would be cancelled and wont be back for another season. not once, but many times!! how fucking often do u come across a show u like with charactors u admire? i'm sick and tired of launching onto all these potentially good shows and only to have someone pour cold water on to my face and saying ' sorry! the dreaming stops here' it's like watching a movie halfway and the film suddenly burns out in the projector. but then CRAP like the fucking OC, one fucking tree hill, Lost and Smallville (which is getting cancelled, thank god, but this little piece of worthless trash got 5(?) seasons out even!! talk about unfair!)

thank god arrested devlopment was given a chance.

it really irks me, the fact that if in the past, these brillant shows would have been given a chance. now, it's just all about ratings and timeslots and money. about 'getting the target audience'. yeah, sure, in the past ratings and timeslots and all the crap matters too, but excellent tv, the kind that make u run home in 4 mins after alighting from the busstop so that u wont miss even a single second of an episode, are getting rarer and rarer and the fact that they keep getting cancelled is the slow death of TV itself.
