I don't believe in an external being that is the manifestation of evil because I think that evil is an energy, a power that gains traction through action. But some days I guess it's easier to blame the Devil when that power, which is potential in all beings, starts to overwhelm inside.

The pride I get from making the right decision that further strengthens my transition into adulthood sometimes get overshadowed by the sadness I feel from the emptiness and resignation of an old soul.
