Do not know which is worse, which is the leser of two evils. or is it evil in the first place?
A country of mean politics where apparently 'the president knows only to cover his own ass' translated, it means that although he wants to serve u, he does after all wants to RULE. all that after term perks and power. who doesnt want it? He does good for the country, or at least the best he can. Freedom is the motto and U get to choose him.
A country whereby it's almost monarchy like, yet we cant complain for we are doing so very well! It's almost like the Matrix, living and breathing, worshiping this great leader who, lucky for us, is not a tyrant and has brought us to great prosperity and gained an international reputation. yet trapped and i somehow feel that all this 'for the nation and society' thing is really a ploy to remove our individuality as a person and replacing it with citizen. Yes we cant surive without a society but this is all getting a little too creepy. it's like we are the willing slaves of this man and his family who 'owns' almost all of the country. What excuse to we have to complain when we are so sucessful and not mistreated? we are not oppressed... well, only for the freedom of speech in politics and censorship. it's like living in a household, u can push the envelope but beware of being grounded, stripped of ur allowance, tv and phone privileges.
i know more about the latter cos i am living in it. and yes, very much aware of the 'grass greener on the other side' syondome just that i'm really at a loss. My father worsphips him, just like many. It's like modern day Hilter except for the killing millions of innocents and wanting to take over the world.
we are the unseen ones, the ones who live a normal unexciting life that turns the economic wheel of society so that WE as a whole have something to be proud of. at the expense of our own lives. greater good? GREATER GOOD?? self-less? Are u content being the smaller guy when u could have been great?? All is well now but y do i feel that something is wrong? maybe something will always be wrong, no matter in what system.
people=society. society needs a government to prevent chaos. pucked from the people. they serve us. and a good job done. hence let us love u to death for u bring us to great heights. We shall now let u rule us.
